We started the day hoping for silver linings. We will find good coffee, we will go to Carthage - we will love it.
We did find good coffee.

Except we can't take the train we have to take a tram and then that same crowded bus we took yesterday - all this takes forever to find out we decide we will go tomorrow.
We will go back to the ancient Medina, we have been to the grand bazaar in Istanbul, and Jemaa el Fraa in Marrakesh, various souks and Medinas

this isn't our first rodeo and there is nothing exciting or fun about these crowded streets. And I like to shop. Nothing - N O T H I N G - catches my eye. There is nowhere to stop for tea, I haven't seen halvah or Turkish delight (makes sense we aren't in Turkey). There's no snake charmer, no dancing monkeys, no fun.

We are tripping over each other to get out. Claustrophobic. So Jeff has coffee I have a cold drink, he's doing.his mobster impression, I am laughing, were having a pretty good time.
We decide well lets find somewhere nice to eat - we are hustled into chairs on a pretty good street, we look at a menu Jeff chooses something for 18 dinar and I choose something for seven. And we each have a small Fanta. The bill - oral not written - is 49 dinar. This is ridiculous - we had been enjoying ourselves, now I am pissed right off and ask for the menu and an itemized receipt my voice is loud _ they drop ten dinar we pay - it's still too high and I take pictures.
And announce loudly "Trip Adviser".

Why would they do this? We hate them, hate their business, hate their country. They have clearly shown us dishonesty. Bald faced dishonesty. Buerre King. A shitty dishonest example of Tunisia.

The rude drivers, crossing the street is scary, the garbage and litter everywhere, the beggars, pests, pesky, the flies, disgusting. The garbage!!

I have a shower which floods the entire bathroom. But Jeff had got extra towels from the manager so mopped up with gay abandon.
